Don't Give Up

Josh Groban "You Are Loved"

Don't give up
It's just the weight of the world
When your heart's heavy
I...I will lift it for you
Don't give up
Because you want to be heard
If silence keeps you
I...I will break it for you

Everybody wants to be understood
Well I can hear you
Everybody wants to be loved
Don't give up
Because you are loved

Don't give up
It's just the hurt that you hide
When you're lost inside
I...I will be there to find you
Don't give up
Because you want to burn bright
If darkness blinds you
I...I will shine to guide you

Everybody wants to be understood
Well I can hear you
Everybody wants to be loved
Don't give up
Because you are loved
You are loved
Don't give up
It's just the weight of the world
Don't give up

Every one needs to be heard
You are loved

This is beautiful. :) Thanks for sharing.

On a completely different note, I've been in extreme neck pain lately. Extreme (for me) being that I've never had to take so much advil. Not sure exactly what I've done to myself, but I've thought of you constantly and wondered in a new and profound way what life like this (on a constant basis) must be like. Which has only made me pray more fervently for your relief.

You are such an inspiration to me and I think of you often...

I just looked over at your 'about me' section and spotted the words 7 beautiful surgical scars...and thought instantly of my own Mom. She was born with a hole in her heart that they operated on when she was 7. She was only the second person in America to receive this new procedure and they told her she would never have children.

I remember her sharing her horror stories with me...about surgeries and recovery...and as I would see and touch each of her scars...she became the most beautiful women in the world to me. And the doctors who saved her...the most incredible miracle workers!

Sometimes my shirt will ride up while our girls are around and they will lay on my tummy. They comment on how they love me for carrying them...when they see the stretch marks, c-section scar and hear of their tumultuous births...and I have to say...scars are badges of courage that set each of us apart.

I love my scars...stretch marks and history with pain...it is part of my story...my mom's story...and for most women...their stories. It's what makes us the strong beautiful women we are!

You are so beautiful, Meghan! Because true beauty is a strength that radiates from the inside out. It's not giving up, even when we want to with everything in us.

I think you have just inspired a new book idea! Women Warriors! Women who have overcome adversity and disappointment, pain and almost death. Not just surviving, but thriving in the midst of it all! Inspirational stories from real women! What do you think????:)
